Disability Support Worker

The Role:
Seeking experienced, compassionate and reliable support worker to partner with a female participant based in Doolandella. High complex care experience required, with onsite training also provided. Reliability and flexibility required.

Duties:

• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care highly regarded
• Oral suctioning
• Bowel management
• Catheter management
• PEG feeding
• Assistance with personal care
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as transfers
• Administering medication

Skills and Experience:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Must hold a Diploma of Nursing with AHPRA registration
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Valid CPR certificate
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
