Disability Support Worker

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible within their homes and communities, enabling participation in meaningful daily activities.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Delivering person-centred support aligned with individual goals and needs
• Assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, medication, and household tasks
• Supporting community access, appointments, and social activities
• Promoting skill development and independence
• Completing accurate support notes, progress reports, and incident documentation

What We’re Looking For

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Experience in, disability support, community services, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, empathetic, and professional approach
• Excellent organisation, adaptability, and time-management skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnight

Required Licences & Clearances

• Current Queensland Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Australian Driver’s Licence and comprehensive car insurance (if using a personal vehicle)
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  (Support can be provided to obtain this where required)
