We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Disability Support Worker to support a male participant who uses a wheelchair, based in Bentley, Perth.

Position Details

• Location: Bentley, Perth WA
• Participant: Male
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Availability: Ongoing, consistent weekday shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities while promoting independence and choice.
• Provide respectful, person-centred support tailored to the participant’s needs.
• Assist with wheelchair-related mobility and transfers in accordance with the participant’s support plan and your training.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and low-demand approaches where required.
• Support community access, engagement, and skill development.
• Maintain the participant’s dignity, safety, privacy, and professional boundaries.
• Complete accurate and timely progress notes and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• A caring, patient, and dependable Disability Support Worker.
• Experience supporting wheelchair users and participants with complex needs is highly regarded.
• Understanding of person-centred support, PBS strategies, and low-demand approaches.
• Strong communication, reliability, and documentation skills.
• Relevant NDIS screening, clearances, and required training.
