Disability Support Worker – Female | Complex Care | Immediate Start

Simaru True Care is seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality support to participants with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and assistance with daily living
• Medication administration
• Diabetes management and BGL monitoring
• Oxygen saturation monitoring
• Support with prescribed antibiotics and other clinical care needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in participant health
• Accurate progress notes and documentation
• Following individual care plans and clinical instructions

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent
• Experience supporting participants with complex needs
• Medication Administration competency/training
• Diabetes management and BGL monitoring experience
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current DHS Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Infection Control training
• Manual Handling training
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Pay: From $36.81 per hour
