Disbursement Associate

About the role

The Disbursement Associate is responsible for processing and monitoring authorized payments and disbursements. The position ensures that payments are complete, accurate, properly documented, and released in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process approved payments and disbursement requests
• Review supporting documents to ensure completeness and proper authorization before payment processing
• Prepare checks, payment instructions, bank transfers, or other approved modes of payment
• Maintain accurate records of all disbursement transactions
• Monitor the status of payments and coordinate with concerned departments and payees when necessary
• Assist in the preparation of disbursement reports and payment schedules
• Ensure that disbursements are processed within approved timelines and in accordance with company policies
• Safeguard payment documents and maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to payments and disbursements
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Treasury Supervisor or Treasury Manager

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Preferably with experience in accounting, treasury, accounts payable, or payment processing
• Knowledge of basic financial and payment procedures
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and organizational skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
