About Us
Tiger Sun is a restaurant and lounge in Lynchburg, VA. Our kitchen is growing, led by an executive chef who is building a strong, organized back-of-house team. We're heading into the holiday season, and we need dependable people who take pride in keeping the kitchen running.

The Role
Dish is the backbone of the kitchen. Without clean plates, pans, and a clean workspace, the line stops. You'll keep everything moving during service and help the team finish strong at close.

What You'll Do

• Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
• Keep the dish station stocked, organized, and running during rushes
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including correct chemical use and dish machine temperatures
• Take out trash, recycling, and grease, and break down boxes
• Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors, walk-ins, and work areas
• Help with basic prep (washing and cutting produce, portioning) when needed
• Help receive and put away deliveries
• Complete opening or closing checklists
• Communicate with the chef and line cooks, and pitch in wherever the kitchen needs you

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and on time. The team depends on you.
• Open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to work fast and stay calm during busy service
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
• A team player who takes direction well and has a good attitude
• Kitchen or dish experience is a plus but not required. We will train you.
• Must be 18+
