Dishwasher (Chika)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by maintaining clean and sanitary dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The Dishwasher plays a key role in ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently by keeping all dishware, cookware, and work areas clean and organized. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Sort and stack clean dishes in designated storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and kitchen areas.
• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and grease disposal.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and clean work areas as needed.
• Restock clean dishes and supplies for kitchen and service staff.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain compliance with health department regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; kitchen experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain prior to first shift, if applicable).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment
