Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
• Help with bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and presentable.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in inventory management by reporting any shortages or damaged items.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential.
• Experience in culinary or hotel environments is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Familiarity with banquet service or catering operations can be beneficial.
