• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring all dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following food safety procedures.
• Assist with basic food handling tasks such as bussing tables and clearing used dishes from dining areas to maintain cleanliness and flow.
• Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Handle manual cleaning tasks including scrubbing pots, pans, and kitchen surfaces with care and precision.
• Support food preparation activities by organizing clean utensils and kitchen tools needed for chefs and cooks.
• Participate in heavy lifting when moving supplies, bulk ingredients, or equipment safely within the kitchen environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas through regular cleaning routines, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Adhere to food safety management protocols to uphold hygiene standards across all kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with team members during catering events or banquet setups to ensure timely dishwashing support.
• Demonstrate excellent food service skills by supporting overall restaurant operations as needed in a lively hospitality setting.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
• Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and basic food handling practices is advantageous.
• Experience with dishwashing equipment or commercial kitchens is a plus but training will be provided.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely is important for success in this role.
• Knowledge of catering or banquet service environments can be beneficial for supporting special events.
• A background in food preparation or culinary experience helps in understanding kitchen workflows but is not mandatory.
