Full-Time | Reports to Executive Chef

The Frobisher Inn is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, kitchen equipment, and work areas while supporting the overall operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen area
• Remove garbage and recycling and clean kitchen floors and work surfaces
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health and safety procedures
• Support restaurant, lounge, banquet, and catering operations as needed
• Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning and operational duties

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
