Job Summary

Duties

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishes to the dish station
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and boxes of supplies with proper technique
• Adhere strictly to kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is highly desirable
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers and basic cleaning tools
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic knife skills are advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting team members

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
