Duties

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools following strict sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly
• Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
• Maintain organization of dishware storage areas and ensure proper disposal of waste materials

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is highly desirable
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or industrial cleaning machinery is a plus
• Knowledge of kitchen safety standards, including proper manual handling techniques and knife skills, is advantageous
• Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
