Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, and dishwashing stations in compliance with health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables to uphold sanitation standards
• Support the food service team by providing clean dishes promptly for meal service or guest use
• Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours

Requirements

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
• Previous experience in hotel or food service industries is a plus but not mandatory
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
