Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Maintain the dishwashing station by organizing clean items for easy access by kitchen staff
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly during service
• Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic environment
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
• Follow all food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations

Skills

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in various duties such as bussing or food prep
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety practices
• Experience with banquet or catering services is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team
