Duties

• Washing efficiently, ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware are cleaned to sanitation standards.
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures meticulously to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and dish racks safely and correctly to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning workstations, floors, sinks, and other surfaces regularly.
• Operate kitchen equipment responsibly while adhering to safety protocols and health standards.
• Follow all kitchen health and safety standards diligently to create a safe working environment for everyone.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous.
• Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning tasks demonstrates readiness for this role.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely is essential.
