Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and helping with catering or banquet setups.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service operations and food handling practices is beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
