We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. This position is essential for supporting our cooks and food service staff, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. Duties

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing floors, counters, and other surfaces as needed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as required, supporting cooks and other kitchen staff.
• Help with bussing tables during busy service periods to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Follow all food handling safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Organize clean dishes and utensils for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with culinary practices such as cooking or banquet service is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
