Job Summary

Southern Steer Butcher Oak Hill is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support the kitchen team by keeping dishes, utensils, cookware, and work areas clean and sanitized. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area
• Follow proper food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Remove trash and keep kitchen areas clean
• Restock clean dishes and supplies
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, sinks, and surrounding areas
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience is preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move kitchen supplies safely
• Willingness to follow sanitation and safety procedures
