Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly sweeping and mopping floors.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Help with bussing tables to ensure a clean dining area for guests.
• Follow food handling safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs of dishwashing equipment to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
