*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our the Peace of Pie team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment.

*Duties*

* Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.

* Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.

* Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies.

* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.

* Support banquet and catering events by managing dishware needs efficiently during service.

* Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen.

* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service.

*Qualifications*

* Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.

* Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with others.

* Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

* Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
