Dishwasher

Good Intentions Coffee is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily coffee shop operations by maintaining clean dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas. This role involves washing and sanitizing café items, assisting with general cleaning, organizing supplies, and supporting team members during busy service periods. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, and food-service equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing and utility area.
• Clean kitchen tools, café equipment, counters, and work surfaces as needed.
• Sort, organize, and store clean dishes, utensils, and supplies properly.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Assist with maintaining clean tables, counters, service stations, and other café areas.
• Remove trash and follow proper waste-handling procedures.
• Support baristas and café team members during busy service periods.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle cleaning products and equipment according to company guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.
• Work cooperatively with team members to maintain smooth café operations.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, café, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Comfortable performing routine cleaning duties in a busy café environment.
• Able to stand and remain active during scheduled shifts.
• Willingness to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Positive and professional approach to working with coworkers.
