Dishwasher

Westside Coffee is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily café operations and maintain clean, organized kitchen and service areas. This role involves washing dishes, cleaning equipment, assisting café staff, restocking supplies, and following food-safety and sanitation procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy coffee shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and food-preparation areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Assist café team members with routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Keep sinks, counters, floors, and service areas clean and orderly.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and café equipment.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and kitchen items.
• Remove trash and follow proper waste-disposal procedures.
• Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other daily café duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, café, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy café environment.
• Good attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing routine cleaning tasks.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
