Living on the Veg is an independently owned vegan restaurant that has served the Manahawkin community for more than 20 years. We are a small, close-knit team working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a dependable Dishwasher/Prep Cook who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized and moving. Reliability and availability to complete closing duties are essential.

Responsibilities

• Wash and properly sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish area clean, organized and stocked
• Complete basic food-preparation tasks as assigned
• Maintain clean floors, work areas and waste stations
• Restock supplies and assist the kitchen during busy periods
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Complete all assigned cleaning and closing duties before leaving

Pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience, plus shared tips.
