Part-Time Dishwasher

Boutique Assisted Living Community

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Part-Time Dishwasher to join our boutique assisted living community in Sunnyvale. This position is an important part of our dining services team and helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents.

Schedule

• Wednesday (AM Shift)
• Thursday (AM Shift)
• Saturday (AM Shift)
• Sunday (PM Shift)
• Part-time position
• Specific shift hours to be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen, and related work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with maintaining a sanitary and safe kitchen environment.
• Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Take out trash and assist with general kitchen cleaning as needed.
• Follow all community, food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Work cooperatively with the kitchen and dining services team.
• Treat residents, guests, and coworkers with courtesy and respect.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be able to speak and understand English well enough to follow instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled days.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift and push 35+ pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Previous dishwashing, restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must get a flu vaccine

Pre-Employment Requirements

As part of our hiring process, selected candidates will be required to:

• Complete a background check, paid for by the community.
• Complete a pre-employment physical, paid for by the community.
• Meet all applicable employment and community requirements.
