Dishwasher

Quarter Note Coffee is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily café operations and maintain clean, organized service areas. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, cups, utensils, and café equipment while assisting the team with routine cleaning and back-of-house duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy coffee shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize cups, glasses, plates, utensils, cookware, and café equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing station.
• Support baristas and café team members by keeping clean dishes, cups, and utensils available during service.
• Sort, organize, and store clean dishes and café supplies properly.
• Assist with cleaning beverage stations, counters, sinks, and designated work areas.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Sweep and mop floors as needed to help maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-shift cleaning duties.
• Support coworkers with routine café tasks during busy service periods.
• Work cooperatively with baristas, kitchen staff, and other café team members.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, café, restaurant, or food-service experience is helpful but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a busy coffee shop or café environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn café cleaning and safety procedures.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays, as needed.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
