Dishwasher

Luigi's Pizza is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily restaurant and kitchen operations. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment while helping maintain clean and organized kitchen and service areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to cleanliness, and comfortable working in a busy pizza restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Sort, rinse, wash, dry, and properly store dishes and kitchen items.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen work areas.
• Assist kitchen team members with routine cleaning and support tasks.
• Keep sinks, counters, floors, and surrounding work areas clean and orderly.
• Replenish dishwashing supplies, cleaning materials, and other necessary items.
• Help maintain a steady supply of clean dishes and equipment during busy service periods.
• Remove trash and follow proper waste-handling procedures.
• Assist with basic kitchen preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness procedures.
• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisors when necessary.
• Support opening, closing, and other daily restaurant responsibilities.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience is helpful but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and restaurant environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine cleaning duties.
• Ability to safely handle dishes, cookware, and cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Positive and professional approach to work.
