What You'll Do

As a Dishwasher at The River, your role is essential to keeping our kitchen running like clockwork. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Washing & Sanitizing: Clean plates, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans—either by hand or using our industrial dish machine.
• Station Organization: Keep the dish pit tidy, dry, and free of clutter throughout your shift.
• Stocking: Return clean dishes, utensils, and cookware to their proper storage and service areas.
• Waste Management: Regularly empty trash cans and break down cardboard boxes.
• General Cleaning: Sweep and mop floors, clean dish machines, and assist with basic kitchen sanitation tasks.

What We're Looking For

We’re searching for someone who brings both skill and dedication to the table. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines when handling chemicals and hot water.
• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
