Duties

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently
• Ensure all food service items are properly sanitized and stored according to health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen staff in meal assembly and ingredient handling
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold sanitation standards
• Support catering and banquet events by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or cleanup as required
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all tasks
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely service during busy periods

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including dishwashing, cleaning protocols, and basic food handling skills
• Experience working in banquet or catering settings is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
