Duties

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Clear and bus tables promptly to maintain cleanliness in dining areas
• Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or bulk supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly
• Support food handling procedures by ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely in accordance with food safety management protocols

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen health and safety standards is advantageous
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of operating kitchen equipment are a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Good manual handling skills combined with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
