Duties

• Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
• Clear and buss tables or service stations promptly to ensure a clean dining environment
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and manual cleaning tools
• Support sanitation standards by maintaining cleanliness of dishwashing areas and storage spaces
• Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment with proper manual handling techniques
• Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to uphold sanitation and food safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the kitchen staff
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
