Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Handle manual tasks such as loading and unloading dishes, stacking clean items, and organizing kitchenware.
• Support food preparation activities by maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas and assisting with basic food handling tasks when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and surrounding kitchen areas through regular cleaning routines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service, including during catering or banquet events.

Skills.

• Some Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to uphold hygiene standards Is helpful.
• Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy pots, pans, and dish racks safely.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with food handling practices are a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout shifts comfortably.
• Experience with dishwashing equipment and general kitchen cleaning protocols a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude; ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
