Dishwasher

Sabino's Pizza is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily pizzeria operations and maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and service areas. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment while assisting the kitchen team with routine cleaning and support duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to cleanliness, and comfortable working in a busy pizza restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean, organized, and properly supplied.
• Clean sinks, counters, floors, and other assigned kitchen and service areas.
• Remove trash and follow appropriate waste-disposal procedures.
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, containers, and other restaurant supplies.
• Assist kitchen and pizza team members with routine cleaning and support duties.
• Help maintain a steady supply of clean dishes and equipment during busy service periods.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
• Handle cleaning equipment and supplies according to company guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties as assigned.
• Communicate supply shortages or equipment concerns to a supervisor.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and restaurant team members.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, pizza restaurant, or food-service experience is helpful.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Able to perform routine dishwashing and cleaning duties throughout a shift.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
