Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils, ensuring a smooth and hygienic operation in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. This role is vital in supporting food service operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards.
• Manage warehousing including unloading pallets and breaking down cardboard boxes.
• Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to facilitate efficient food service.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning or food service environments is preferred; restaurant or hotel experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, food handling, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as pots and pans when necessary.
• A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
