Responsibilities for Dishwasher

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware into the dish machine
• Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment
• Clean, sanitize, and properly maintain the dish machine throughout each shift
• Unload clean dishes and utensils and return them to their proper locations
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter
• Empty trash containers regularly and replace trash liners
• Take trash and cardboard to the designated disposal area
• Break down cardboard boxes and dispose of them properly
• Sweep and mop kitchen, dish area, and other assigned floors as needed
• Clean food preparation stations, tables, sinks, and equipment
• Wipe down and sanitize counters, shelves, walls, and other kitchen surfaces
• Clean spills immediately to help maintain a safe working environment
• Keep floors free of food, grease, water, and other debris
• Restock clean dishes, silverware, glasses, pans, and kitchen utensils as needed
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organization during slower periods
• Help keep walk-in coolers, storage areas, and dry-storage areas clean and organized when requested
• Clean trash cans as needed and keep the trash area clean
• Clean floor mats and return them to their proper locations
• Make sure cleaning chemicals and supplies are properly stored after use
• Notify a manager when cleaning supplies, chemicals, or dishwashing supplies are running low
• Follow proper sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures
• Complete all assigned opening, shift, and closing cleaning duties
• Before leaving, make sure the dish area is completely clean, dishes are put away, trash is removed, and floors are swept and mopped
• Perform additional cleaning and kitchen duties as requested by management

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
