Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all work areas are organized and sanitary.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service.
• Follow food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service operations.
• Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen area to uphold health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of basic cleaning practices and food handling safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with food preparation or banquet service is a plus but not mandatory.
