Dishwasher

Lumi Restaurant is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily kitchen and restaurant operations. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and organized dish area. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to cleanliness, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Load and unload the dishwasher safely and efficiently
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly supplied
• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cookware in designated areas
• Clean sinks, counters, floors, and other kitchen work areas as needed
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks
• Remove trash and help maintain proper sanitation throughout the shift
• Monitor dishwashing and cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs
• Help maintain a clean and safe kitchen during busy service periods
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant cleaning duties
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and restaurant team members

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience is helpful
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine cleaning duties
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to work cooperatively with kitchen and restaurant staff
• Professional and dependable approach to work

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
