Skills Needed for a Dishwasher
- Machine & manual washing: Operating commercial dishwashers and hand-washing delicate items.
- Chemical handling: Knowing how to safely use soaps, sanitizers, and bleach.
- Attention to detail: Checking that all plates, glasses, and pots are completely clean before they go back to the line.
- Physical stamina: Standing for 8 to 10 hours in hot, wet conditions and lifting heavy bins.
- Organization: Stacking clean dishes efficiently and keeping the dish pit tidy.
- Team communication: Letting cooks know when certain plates or tools are ready and clean.
- Fast pace environment
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
