Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or prepping ingredients when needed
• Support catering and banquet events by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or breakdown
• Follow all food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods
• Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols in a kitchen setting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations
• Experience with bussing tables or assisting in catering or banquet settings is a plus
• Willingness to follow instructions carefully and maintain a high standard of cleanliness at all times
