Job Summary

Omelet House is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwasher to support daily restaurant and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment, maintain a clean dish area, assist with kitchen cleaning, restock supplies, and support the kitchen team during busy breakfast and lunch service.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works efficiently, pays close attention to cleanliness and sanitation, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate the commercial dishwashing machine safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing station
• Sort and organize clean dishes and equipment for easy access by kitchen staff
• Assist cooks and kitchen team members with basic cleaning and support duties
• Clean sinks, counters, shelves, floors, and other designated kitchen areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and work areas as needed
• Remove trash and recycling according to restaurant procedures
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen supplies
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and report low inventory to supervisors
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen cleaning duties
• Support cooks and other kitchen team members during busy service periods
• Perform additional duties assigned by kitchen or restaurant management

Requirements

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience is preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
• Friendly, dependable, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
