Dishwasher

Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - Omaha is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily kitchen and restaurant operations. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and organized dish area. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to cleanliness, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, plates, glasses, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and follow established cleaning procedures
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly supplied
• Sort, dry, and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated areas
• Assist kitchen staff with routine cleaning and support tasks as needed
• Clean sinks, counters, floors, and other assigned kitchen areas
• Remove trash and help maintain proper sanitation throughout the shift
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, containers, and other kitchen supplies
• Monitor dishwashing and cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs
• Help maintain a steady supply of clean equipment during busy service periods
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
• Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant cleaning duties
• Work cooperatively with cooks, servers, and other restaurant team members

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience is helpful
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to learn cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Careful when handling dishes, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Able to perform routine cleaning and dishwashing duties throughout a shift
• Good teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
