Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all ingredients are prepped according to safety standards.
• Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
• Support the culinary team by bussing tables and assisting with banquet setups when required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• A background in hospitality or culinary arts can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.

Pay: $16.56 - $20.00 per hour
