We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen surfaces.
• Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
• Dispose of waste materials according to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a busy kitchen setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
