Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and ensuring proper waste disposal
• Assist with food handling tasks as needed to support food preparation and service teams
• Ensure all dishware and kitchen items are stored correctly to prevent damage or contamination
• Support the kitchen staff by promptly responding to cleaning needs during busy service hours
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the restaurant or hotel environment
• Help with basic inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies that need replenishing

Experience

• Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
• Experience working in kitchens or hotels enhances your ability to adapt quickly and efficiently
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
