Duties

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team as needed
• Busing tables and clearing dishes promptly to maintain a tidy dining area
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, crates, or bulk supplies safely and correctly
• Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dish stations and kitchen surfaces
• Support the team in adhering to kitchen health and safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items regularly
• Familiarity with food safety management principles is a plus

• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
