Our Dishwashers are a critical part of the team, keeping dishes, equipment, and the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service. If you take pride in working hard, moving with urgency, and being part of a team that gets things done, we want you on our team.

Alexandria Restaurant Partners locations include Ada’s on the River, Barca Pier & Wine Bar, Café Tu Tu Tango, Mia’s Italian Kitchen, Palette 22, Joe Theismann’s, The Royal, and Vola’s Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge.

Position Responsibilities:

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Keep dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment clean and sanitized
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dish area throughout every shift
• Load and operate the dish machine while following proper sanitation procedures
• Hand-wash equipment and items that require special care
• Keep kitchen floors, trash areas, and workspaces clean and maintained
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing supplies when needed
• Support the culinary team with cleaning and kitchen upkeep
• Work quickly and efficiently during high-volume service
• Communicate with cooks, chefs, and managers to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications -

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, dishwashing, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and take direction from kitchen leadership
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned responsibilities
• Comfortable working around heat, water, noise, and a busy kitchen environment
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items as needed for the position
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
