Dishwasher

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible dishwasher to join our kitchen team at a busy Japanese izakaya in San Mateo. You will play a key role in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and utensils efficiently
• Help keep the dish area, floor, and trash area clean and safe
• Support the team with basic cleaning and organizing tasks
• Be on time, focused, and ready to work every shift
• Take care of equipment and follow cleaning procedures

We’re looking for someone who:

• Works fast and stays focused under pressure
• Has a strong sense of responsibility and cleanliness
• Is reliable, on time, and willing to help wherever needed
• Can stand for long periods and handle physical work
• Experience is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.60 - $20.00 per hour
