• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
• Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow strict sanitation standards to maintain kitchen health and safety standards at all times
• Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or crates with proper technique to prevent injury
• Maintain organization of dishware storage areas and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly

Experience

• Prior food service experience is preferred, especially in restaurant or catering environments
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers and sinks is advantageous
• Basic knife skills and understanding of food handling protocols are a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
