Duties

• Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning stations to efficiently clean all kitchenware, utensils, and cookware
• Sort and organize dishes, glasses, silverware, and kitchen equipment for proper cleaning and storage
• Follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food handling tasks as needed, including prep work or assisting in the kitchen during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and surrounding surfaces
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food preparation and service
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel dishwashing procedures is a plus
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
