Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and free of clutter.
• Assist with food handling tasks as needed, including sorting and storing supplies properly.
• Support the kitchen team by preparing basic food items or ingredients when required, following safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and prompt availability of clean dishware for service.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation.

• Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health regulations.
• Experience with food handling or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: $15.37-$17.00 per hour
