Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff and contributing to a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. Must be available weekends, restaurant is open Wednesday - Sunday. Bilingual is preferred.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies.
• Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Support the culinary team during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is required.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to assist in various culinary tasks such as food preparation or catering events when needed.
